In a few weeks, there will be a several new homes and evenings and climates around me. Yesterday was the very last time I’ll go to work for some time; after almost five years in the same industry. I am putting my things into boxes and feeling hopeful in a way that, if materialized, would look like a tunnel that I built up, out of my home and comfort zone, crawling upwards, about to surface, on a view of a warm rain in Thailand.
This journey will involve Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
I anticipate that lovely startling feeling of being lost and gaining awareness—and this festival, of water and light, in Chang Mai (above) will be my first stop.
